At Mariners Hospital, our nurses truly are heroes, and they are proud to present their 17th Annual Mariners Hospital Walk/Run virtually,November 15-21, 2020. A virtual race allows you to participate from wherever you are. You may honor your favorite nurse by just stepping outside your door and completing the distance on your regular jogging route or hopping on a treadmill. The way you participate is entirely up to you. Once completed, enter your finish time into your Haku account. Results will be posted on November 22.
Our community is stronger because we have found innovative ways to come together, while staying apart. We recognize our healthcare heroes that continue to selflessly, care for people in an extraordinary time of need. They are on the frontline daily and we recognize and appreciate their efforts!

Participation in the Mariners Hospital 5K Walk/Run & 10K Run will benefit the hospital’s Center for Excellence in Nursing.Nurses play a crucial role in our community and now, with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic sweeping the globe, our nurses are on the frontlines caring for our patients and more committed than ever to ensuring the health and safety of each and every one of us. Donations to the Center for Excellence in Nursing benefit our nurses’ professional development, the Diabetes Care Clinic, and advanced technology and equipment, all to improve the quality of care for our patients and community..
